"Whatever you did for...

...you did for me."    Matthew 25:40

He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD…

There is no doubt that times are tough and we know that so many of you sacrifice your own comforts and enjoyment in order to provide for those in need.  We work diligently to make your generosity stretch to its absolute fullest.  We are extraordinarily grateful and appreciate every gift.  Every penny, ounce of food and the smallest household item or office pencil helps us feed the hungry, bring help to the hurting and offer hope to the hopeless.

In this section we've tried to provide you with useful information on opportunities to be involved in assisting us in providing the possibility for New Life to so many of our neighbors in desperate need.  There are tremendous ongoing needs in addition to new projects on the horizon for which the participation of our community is vitally important.

Please check back to this site often for updates and up to date information on current needs.  If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Director of Community & Donor Relations, Ken White at 530-242-5920.

And, from all of us here at the Mission, staff, guests, volunteers and board members, THANK YOU!!!

  • IGO ONO 8th GRADERS HELP MISSION

Keith Ayala (red shirt), the 7th & 8th Grade class teacher at Igo Ono School dropped off a donation today of a $200 gift card to Raley's.  His 8th Grade class held a drawing for the gift card to raise money for their class trip later in the school year.  The Mission won the gift card due to the generosity of an anonymous ticket buyer who listed the Mission on their tickets in place of themselves.  Keith presented the award on behalf of the class and said the students were tremendously excited that the Mission won.  THANK YOU IGO-ONO 8th GRADERS!!

  • July '09 Update

July was a rough month for donations as the timing of the 4th of July holiday impacted early month giving.  We simply were not able to catch up from essentially a lost week in July.  Summer is traditionally bad, but this is probably one of the worst months we've had since I joined the Mission in the spring of '08.  That said, we're hoping for a better August and ask that you keep us in your prayers.

  • UPCOMING PROJECTS

    Hi everyone!

Welcome to the new site.  This is an exciting change for all of us here at the Mission.  The new site will allow us to better communicate with you directly on timely information.  The Donation page here will be a great source of information on our ongoing current needs, upcoming projects and ways you might become involved.  So please, come back soon and often.  And for all of us here, thank you for all you do for our neighbors in need.

    God bless,
